A 1000 ft line of sight range and a 2.4GHz. transition frequency, this camera needs only to be plugged in and the signal begins to be sent. Just plug the receiver into a recording device of your choosing.
The signal is strong enough to travel thru 1 - 2 walls, although this will cut down on the range of the camera
